Brunch with Baking For Friends

Brunch with Baking For Friends

When I stop to think where I’m going and where I’ve been, somehow food always plays a special part. It’s my past, full of memories; like my grandma’s baking, her famous butter tarts and her special treats at the cottage like maple fudge. Then there’s my grandpa eating an entire pie with slices of cheese, and family gatherings around our table. Sharing the kitchen with my mother; side by side, being her sidekick at events and talking about the next new recipe brings us closer together. And I can’t forget about my Dad grilling on the bbq rain or shine (and using nothing but his favourite Diana’s BBQ sauce)!

The joy of these memories is what inspires me. This is why Baking for Friends was created. I hope this video captures my love for food and sharing with you, my friends.

Life is uncertain, but dessert doesn't have to be!

Potato Dill Quiche with Goat Cheese

This potato and dill quiche with goat cheese is made using a classic pie pastry crust and is loaded with roasted potatoes, red peppers, garlic, goat cheese and of course fresh dill! The combination of milk and cream gives a richer and creamier flavour than the typical quiche recipe.
